chicken soup with potato, carrot


  recipe for a delicious bowl of chicken soup with potato, carrot, and dill served with bread slices:


Ingredients:

- 2 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless

- 4 cups chicken broth

- 2 potatoes, peeled and diced

- 2 carrots, peeled and sliced

- 1 onion, finely chopped

- 2 cloves of garlic, minced

- 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped

- Salt and pepper to taste

- Bread slices for serving


Instructions:

1. In a large pot, heat some oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, and sauté until they become translucent and fragrant.

2. Cut the chicken breasts into small, bite-sized pieces and add them to the pot. Cook until the chicken is browned on all sides.

3. Pour in the chicken broth and bring the mixture to a boil. Reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 15 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.

4. Add the diced potatoes and sliced carrots to the pot. Cook for another 10-15 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender.

5. Stir in the chopped dill and season the soup with salt and pepper to taste. Allow the flavors to meld for a few minutes.

6. Remove the pot from the heat and ladle the chicken soup into bowls.
