Layered Flan Dessert with Biscuits and Mixed Nuts
Ingredients:
- 1 package of flan mix
- 500 ml of milk
- 200 grams of biscuits (any type you prefer)
- 100 grams of mixed nuts (such as almonds, walnuts, or pistachios), chopped
- 1 cup of caramel sauce
- Whipped cream and additional nuts for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
1. Prepare the flan mix according to the package instructions, using the milk. Allow it to cool slightly.
2. Take a rectangular or square glass dish and pour a thin layer of caramel sauce on the bottom, spreading it evenly.
3. Arrange a layer of biscuits on top of the caramel sauce, covering the entire surface.
4. Pour a layer of the prepared flan mixture over the biscuits, making sure it covers them completely.
5. Sprinkle a layer of chopped mixed nuts on top of the flan mixture.
6. Repeat the layers, starting with another layer of biscuits, followed by the flan mixture and nuts, until you reach the top of the dish or run out of ingredients.
7. Finish with a layer of caramel sauce on top.
8. Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to allow it to set.
9. Before serving, you can garnish with whipped cream and additional nuts, if desired.
10. Cut into squares or rectangles and serve chilled.
Note: You can adjust the sweetness of the dessert by adding more or less caramel sauce. Additionally, you can experiment with different types of nuts or add a sprinkle of cinnamon or cocoa powder between the layers for extra flavor.
