Fruit Verrine

 Fruit Verrine Recipe

Ingredients:

- Assorted fruits (such as strawberries, blueberries, kiwi, mango, or pineapple), diced or sliced

- 2 tablespoons of sugar (optional, adjust according to the sweetness of the fruits)

- 1 tablespoon of lemon juice

- 1 cup of Greek yogurt or whipped cream

- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

- Granola, nuts, or cookie crumbles for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

1. In a bowl, combine the diced or sliced fruits with sugar (if using) and lemon juice. Toss gently to coat the fruits evenly. Let them macerate for about 15 minutes to release their juices and enhance the flavors.

2. In a separate bowl, mix the Greek yogurt or whipped cream with vanilla extract until well combined. Adjust the sweetness of the yogurt or whipped cream by adding a little bit of sugar if desired.

3. Take small serving glasses or verrine glasses and begin layering the dessert. Start with a spoonful of the fruit mixture at the bottom of each glass.

4. Add a layer of the yogurt or whipped cream on top of the fruit mixture, spreading it evenly.

5. Repeat the layers, alternating between the fruit mixture and the yogurt or whipped cream, until the glasses are filled or you run out of ingredients.

6. Finish by topping the verrines with a final layer of fruit and garnish with granola, nuts, or cookie crumbles, if desired.

7. Serve the Fruit Verrines immediately or refrigerate for a short time to chill before serving.

Note: You can get creative with the fruit combinations and adjust the recipe based on your preferences. Feel free to experiment with different fruits, add a drizzle of honey or a sprinkle of cinnamon, or incorporate flavored yogurt for more variety.
