Tiramisu Freezer Dessert Recipe

Ingredients:

250 grams of ladyfingers (savoiardi biscuits)

250 ml of strong brewed coffee, cooled

4 tablespoons of coffee liqueur (such as Kahlua or Tia Maria)

500 grams of mascarpone cheese

200 grams of granulated sugar

2 teaspoons of vanilla extract

250 ml of heavy cream

Cocoa powder, for dusting

Instructions:

In a shallow dish, combine the cooled coffee and coffee liqueur.

Dip each ladyfinger into the coffee mixture, ensuring it is soaked but not overly saturated, and line them in a single layer at the bottom of a rectangular or square dish.

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the mascarpone cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and well combined.

In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form.

Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until well incorporated.

Pour half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers, spreading it evenly to cover them.

Create another layer of dipped ladyfingers on top of the mascarpone mixture.

Pour the remaining mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers, again spreading it evenly.

Dust the top with a generous amount of cocoa powder.

Cover the dish with plastic wrap and place it in the freezer for at least 4 hours or overnight to allow it to set.

Before serving, transfer the tiramisu freezer dessert to the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to soften slightly.

Cut into squares or rectangles and serve chilled.

Note: You can add a sprinkle of grated chocolate or chocolate shavings on top for added decoration and flavor. Additionally, you can customize your tiramisu by adding a layer of chocolate ganache or chocolate sauce between the layers of mascarpone mixture.
