 recipe for a tuna sandwich 


- Bread slices (you can use white or whole grain bread, depending on your preference)

- 1 can of tuna in water, drained and flaked

- 1/4 cup of diced onion

- 1/4 cup of diced cucumber

- 1/4 cup of grated carrot

- 2 tablespoons of plain yogurt

- 1 teaspoon of mustard

- Lettuce leaves or any other preferred vegetables for garnish


1. In a large bowl, mix together the flaked tuna, diced onion, diced cucumber, grated carrot, yogurt, mustard, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Combine the ingredients well until they are evenly mixed.

2. Toast the bread slices in the oven or on a stovetop griddle until they are golden brown and crispy.

3. Spread the prepared tuna mixture onto the toasted bread slices. You can add a layer of lettuce leaves or any other preferred vegetables.

4. Close the sandwich by placing another slice of bread on top of the filling.
